Application Support Engineer - AI

- 12 Month Day-Rate Contract role – high likelihood of extension / a conversion to a permanent employee down the line
- Offering: $450 - 473 per day including super
- Hybrid work arrangement – 2 days per week in Sydney CBD office, 3 days WFH

What you’ll bring?
- Must have 2+ years of experience in either an application support or software development environment
- Experience being able to write and debug JavaScript AND/OR Java programming languages
- Excellent communication skills and ability to converse with clients
- Experience providing application / technical support over phone, email, chat
- Strong knowledge of the components in a web applications stack.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle).
- Experience using Linux/Unix OR Microsoft Server.
- Prior experience leveraging AI in an application support or software development role
What you’ll be doing?
- Working as part of the Application Support Team in Sydney to troubleshoot customer queries / issues
- Responding to tickets from customers / escalations that arise internally
- Providing support to users/administrators of this company’s platform over the phone and over Teams
- Working on a rostered work-week, mostly 7:30am – 3:30pm OR 8am – 4pm
- Contributing to the evolution of best practices for the delivery of support services in the organisation
- Leveraging AI to improve workflows and enhance the overall application support team’s service offering
- Understanding this company’s platform, cloud technologies and troubleshooting practices to ensure successful resolution of challenging technical situations
